Lunch Sacks Damask and Dots

I whipped up some new lunch bags this weekend, and have a little ribbon work to do on a few wine totes. (I desperately need a new camera, I cannot seem to get a decent picture!(

Things to do while on the phone with tech support.

I have this wonderful client who is teaching her daughter how to cook. She's using my recipe cards and album to start her off. They are going to fill in the cards and then use the space next to the recipe slot in the album to tell about the first time making the recipe together. I thought this was the sweetest idea! I totally love it! I thought I might offer Mommy and Me packages in my shop. Recipe albums and cards, with matching (or contrasting aprons) So as I sat on the phone for 2 hours with HP printer tech support, (which BTW is so much better now for the tech than it was when I worked for HP) I cut out and put together most of this apron during the call, between reboots and clicks. Talk about multitasking! I have a cute apron, a crick in my neck and I can print again! woot!

Whew!

Busy Busy! Between slaving away in the sweat shop and my personal life, I've neglected my little blog here! So.. Updating!
New Snack sacks, New Wine totes and New lunch bags as well as new line of recipe cards are all up or will soon be up on my etsy and artfire sites! I'm still trying out new patterns and designs and I think my new favorite is definitely the pirate snack sack.
Packing the Monkey's lunch this morning I couldn't refrain from a little Pirate lingo, "Ahoy Matey! Would ye like a dab of mustard or mayo me hearty? Arr! Arrr! Talk like a pirate day is coming up September 19th so I have plenty of time to practice!

Damask poll is up!

So in my quest to create cuter recipe cards I've run into a dilemma, I've been working on a new Damask background and I personally I prefer it over the old one. BUT, there are those who prefer the lacy old version. So take a moment and take the poll and tell me which you prefer!

new and improved Wine Tote!

After countless hours, I have finally tweaked the wine tote to my satisfaction! I just put it up on etsy and also on artfire, and its available in black, pink and red. and soon to be polka dot!

And now for the latest addition to my craft streak..




Snack Bags! ta-ta Ziplocks! These puppies are fully lined, washable, and of course.. CUTE! I think I've made at least 15 just trying to get the pattern right. I whipped up some train ones for the boys and they are using them for everything from Goldfish to Legos. I've tossed a few on my Etsy site and we'll see how they do!

Damask Lunch Sack and wine tote

I've been wanting to make a wine tote for a few months. I had the oilcloth to do it, just not the time! With the little monkeys out of town this weekend I spent this evening figuring out just how to make them! For my first attempt at sewing oilcloth, I don't think they turned out too bad. I am definitely not finished with the wine bag, it needs handles! I can't decide between, red, hot pink, black or lime green though.

I'll have to see what is available and update these pictures

Damask Shower package

I've been soo busy lately! (which is such a good thing!) I've been working on a big order for a recipe album, recipe cards, and recipe shower invitations. It really was so much fun! I learned a lot and I think it turned out well! I can't wait to ship the album off tomorrow!

Holy polka-dots batman! I stayed up too late last night working on these recipe cards. I love that I can completely customize them! I even made polka-dot polka dots. but turned out a bit too trippy for a recipe card.
